Regina McBride is an artist with English language. In this Memoir of her growing up and trying to come terms with her parents suicides I felt In was reading poetry. Moody, atmospheric, and incredibly sad, but also hopeful. I found myself waiting for the detailed explanations of why(!?!?) her parents would succumb to such permanent solutions 5 months apart but it never came. As I let the book resonate after I turned the last page U realized that's the point. Regina spent a lot of her young adult years chasing ghosts for answers that just don't exist.
