I'm a huge fan of Tessa Bailey as she KNOWS how to write steamy novels. In Raw Redemption this couple shouldn't work on paper, a cop and daughter of criminal but who cares about paper when you have tons of chemistry.

Henrik makes a choice to help Ailish that ends with him and the worst job for a cop. But he now also gets the opportunity to work with Ailish.

I liked the story, the intrigue and I loved Ailish and Henrik together. Their chemistry was through the roof. I liked Ailish and her ability to reflect on her choices as well.

Ailish couldn't help but wonder if she'd made herself more vulnerable by trying to be strong and independent.

Ailish had been out of line last night. She could admit that. In the light of day, she saw her behavior for what it was.

Can't wait for more from this author.

Tessa Bailey is my most favorite author of all time. She writes the most deliciously dirty Alpha heroes (who aren't Alpha-holes). Henrik and Ailish nearly set my iPad on fire!!

I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed in a Tessa Bailey book and I knew she would not let me down now. I could not wait until I could sink into the delicious, hot story of Ailish and Henrik. The little snipes we got in the previous book just made me want to know more about the woman who held Henrik's heart in her hands and didn't even know it. So needless to say, when I got the opportunity to read it, I devoured each page like there was no tomorrow. And let me say, it was so worth the sleepless night!!

Henrik lived up to and then exceeded all my expectations. I honestly don't think he could have been written any better. He was honorable, loving, quick to sacrifice his needs, hot, sexy and honestly one of my favorite Tessa Bailey men. He knew with one look that Ailish was it for him. With one look, he willingly gave up the only life and career he knew in order to save the woman who captured his heart. If that doesn't make you love him, there is no hope for you.

Oh, let's not forget about Ailish. What type of woman would be capable of stealing a man's heart with just a look? The kind that is good to the core and wants nothing more than to put the life she was raised to have far in the past. She never liked the life she lived, way too sheltered in some ways and way to knowing in others. She knew that her father was not a good man and at the first opportunity ran to make a better life for herself.

I loved this book right from the first page and through the last. I could not put it down. Who needs sleep when you have a Tessa Bailey book to read? No me that's for sure! I thought she did a wonderful job of pulling all the previous books together and giving us the perfect ending for Henrik and Ailish. Great job Tessa! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!

I have not read a Tessa Bailey book before so this was an AMAZING first read.

Raw Redemption is part of the Crossing The Line series but each book is a standalone so you don't have to read the books in order but do read them! Especially if you like suspense, sexy times, mystery and intrigue, this book is for you!

Henrik is a cop who has been moved to a less than ideal undercover unit - for something he did but I won't tell you what - you have to read and find out. He ends up being assigned to get Chicago's notorious mob boss' daughter as an informant. Ailish wants Henrik but she also wants to protect him too.
I love their names, I love these scenes and scenarios! I will definitely be adding the remainder of this series to the TBR.
