I liked the propulsive feel of the storytelling. Rather than necessarily being on the edge of your seat the whole way you find yourself moving ever more urgently from the back to the edge of your seat. I also like crime stories that connect, or at least allude to, historic events, whether in the past of the novels setting or in the time frame. I thought that was handled here very well.
I received a free copy from NetGalley. I always read something translated a little slower, but it was entertaining enough to keep the pages turning.
The problem here is not the book, probably, but the translation. Read it in the original if you can.
Good title.
I received a review copy of "Time Heals No Wounds (A Baltic Sea Crime Novel)" by Hendrik Falkenberg translated by Patrick F. Brown (AmazonCrossing) through NetGalley.com.
