For a novel where the characters don't really do what they set out to do, I found it a very interesting read. Unfortunately because they don't really do what they set out to, I had moments where I felt like it was a waste of time. If it wasn't for the interesting travelling circus that takes up the majority of the novel I probably would have put it down within a third of the novel
