I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this part 1 of Chased! Ariel and Chase are really convoluted characters who have layers of mystery and intensity. I also love the running aspect since I used to be a runner, so I can relate a lot of my history with that part of the book. The chemistry and tension between these two characters is off the charts and it was only a matter of time before they caved into temptation.

I'm also really enjoying the mystery, creepiness of this story - again, not something I was expecting. I loved the whole thing and really got invested in Chase's issues that he was dealing with. And I loved how loyal and determined Ariel was. You can tell that these two were meant to be and I was there for every minute. Seeing Ariel with Drew was sweet and I really enjoyed how much he opened up to her about his likes and passions.

This was a hidden gem that I, for some reason, wasn't expecting to like as much, so I'm really glad I got the chance to read it and discover this!
