Book Review: 4.5 “finding home” stars!!

"Because now I understood what being home truly was. With William’s help, I’d finally found it."

WOW! Just WOW! I’m rarely rendered speechless from a book but damn if this one didn’t do JUST THAT! And with 200% success. It doesn’t get better than this.

For the One is the fifth installment in the standalone series Gaming the System. But not only it’s much better than the previous ones, also it’s by far one of the greatest books I have ever read. This time the spotlight belongs to William and Jenna; a couple that is heart-stealing. William is a millionaire but he is far from that. He is an individual with some special needs – he has Aperger’s Syndrome – and his mind works with its own magnificent way. He has a crush on Jenna from quite some time now but she was a bit oblivious when it came to his feelings. But soon, she will discover not only them but also the rare gem of a personality he hides underneath. A moment, though, is all it’s needed for their life to change. William put himself and the world he has created on the line to help Jenna in her hour of need while she helps him succeed. Although, the journey they end up doing together and the end result is something neither of them has ever imagined.

"I barely had a chance to catch my breath before I was on the ride of my life. "

The uniqueness of William & Jenna’s story blew me away for good. William’s Asperger’s Syndrome condintion worked as the critical element the story needed so to reach the moon and beyond. But Jenna’s heritage and roots as the icing of this perfect cake. My heart is still full even after having finished the book for awhile. I can’t get past how amazing this story is. Every time I think about these two characters and their love, I get super emotional. And I may not be such a big believer of coincidendes but I think it wasn’t just luck that I decided to finally read the book who has a Bosnian-Serbian heroine when I currently live in Serbia. Kind of silly, I know, but I can’t deny that it worked as a link that got me more intimate with the story.

"She’s got me in her grasp with every bit force as a star’s gravity. "

The love they finally got these two to share has been through a lot but it was too deep for it to crack under any weight. Watching them fighting for what they have, each with its own way, warmed my heart to the end. The passion, the intensity of every feeling they experience and the fragility, and at the same time the strength, of their personalities had me hooked and unable to drag my eyes off my screen even for just a minute. I devoured this love story with all my being.

To say that Brenna Aubrey surprised me this time it would be an understatement. I never expected when I was reading the blurb that this book was going to get printed so deep on my heart and mind. The blurb is really doesn’t make it justice but from the other side, it hides its magnificence so only the adventurous ones will discover it.
