Eliot is not excited about the prospect of spending his summer vacation in a remote fishing village in Nova Scotia. He is even less enthused about working with his Uncle Earl on his fishing boat.

But soon Eliot finds himself warming up to Point Aconi, especially when he befriends a local group of kids, including the lovely Mary Beth. He conquers his fear of swimming, escapes a group of local bullies, but when he learns a secret about Mary Beth, he is unsure what is the right thing to do.

A lovely middle grade graphic novel about growing up.
