Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Another book that was fine...but I feel like I missed a lot. We got bits and pieces of how Carlie and Tomas met, but it wasn't really enough to truly want them to get together. The fact that both of them wanted more but didn't want to say anything? And I'm sorry, Carlie just left her entire company in the hands of a temp? Did I read that right?

I don't know. I wanted to like this read, but was underwhelmed.

Carlie is a hustler and a runner. Tomas is a successful hotelier who shows up whenever she calls and then watches her walk away. Both in love with the other they work to find a way to stop running.

I have not had a chance to read this book yet. I am still working on catching up and also trying not to get too far behind on other books. I will update this review once I have read the book.

I am glad that I started reading this author. The first book in the series was my first. This one is on the same level. It is a great story with well developed characters. The story line was well written. I would recommend this to my friends.

Carlie complained throughout this entire story and I just couldn't find it in me to root for her or to even like her. Had I connected with her character I would have enjoyed this friends to lovers story.
