What a wonderful book to read with children about loss. Following along on the young girl's journey to look for her mom who has passed away helps with explaining what happens when someone dies. They may leave but they can be found in things around you if you believe. Very good book to read with a family so that you can have some discussion as to what happens.
I liked this book and can see it being useful to a child who has lost his or her parent. I will say, however, the verbiage could be very confusing and should certainly be read by parents before reading it with a child. It could be understood to count certain tenets of faith.
Everywhere and All Around is a touching story about losing a loved one, accompanied by beautiful illustrations. The book covers how we keep our loved ones with us, and the complicated feelings we may experience during grief, as well as how we can find comfort and find with the support of others.
Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.
I loved it!!! Ohhh so cute the illustrations (better than the ones of the same author in Princess Lemonella)
The story also was so loving, so tender, so good!! It's a good book for children to understand that difficult moment of someone's death...
I was deeply touched!!!
