Unfortunately I didn't finish this book, as I couldn't get into it - nothing against the author or book, just not to my personal taste. Thank you for the opportunity to read it.
Will no longer be reading or reviewing this book due to lack of interest in the title, and the fact that the title has been archived.

I just couldn't get into this book. I picked it up and put it down numerous times.
This was a very realistic story that portrayed a broken family. There was a lot going on but everything read honestly and was heartfelt. Everything wrapped up nicely in the end and I like how things turned out!
This book wasn't what I expected it to be. The blurb made me eager to read it but once I had, the story fell flat for me. I couldn't connect with the story line or its characters, although I tried. It made it difficult to finish, which led to me skimming every few paragraphs just to get through.
I did like the overall voice of the story. I think that's what kept me reading. Despite my disconnect from the story as a whole, the inner dialogue kept my focus because of how true to age it was. Most books have teenagers trying to act like they're in their thirties, that wasn't the case for this one. Which I appreciated.
I definitely love this book. My kinda book I read. The first time I saw this cover, it totally made me wanna read this one as soon as possible. And the story line was so interesting. If you're a big YA fan, you guys should definitely check this one out.
This was a mixing of genre's kind of book, and if your okay with that, I'll think you'll find this one quite as enjoyable. I sure did! The author mixes contemporary with mystery in a way that makes you keep turning the pages to try to piece together the story.
The main character, John, has been sent to live elsewhere after the accident resulting in his brother's brain injury. There is where the mystery comes in, as we know that John feels so much guilt over this, but we aren't sure why? What does he have to feel guilty about?
Poor John is put through the ringer in this book, but despite everything you can't help but want him to come out on top!
Overall, I found this to be a quick, mysterious contemporary read and I look forward to more from this author!
Unfortunatelly I wasn't able to finish the book and lost interest on it
