Okay, I will be the first to admit that I had doubts going into this book that the author would be able to live up to the first book in this series; however, those doubts were quickly laid to rest. I honestly could not get enough of this book.

I quickly fell for Reece, I mean I'm pretty sure I want to have his babies. Is that even possible? Well, maybe Reece inspired babies are anyway. He was such a strong character that was suffering with PTSD that I couldn't help but Hanns my heart over to.

Oh, let's not forget about Emily. She was a perfect match for Reece. He needed someone who knew about his demons and wasn't afraid of them. However, she wasn't without her own faults. She needed to find herself and follow her dreams.

I can't recommend this book enough. I loved it from the first page to the last. The characters were written with so much feeling, it was hard to believe that they were not real. I can't wait to read what Ms. Gibsen has in store for us next as I'm sure it will be spectacular!

This was my first Cole Gibsen book and wow what a book!

Emily is an immature woman who is basically spiraling out of control, flitting from one thing to another to just enjoy life. Or so she says. Reece ends up saving Emma (you have to read it to find out from what).

Reece and Em's story is powerful. Reece helps Em find herself and what she wants to do and Em helps Reece with his PTSD. She is the first person who doesn't look at him like a freak when he has an episode and just tries to take care of him.

This was an HEA BUT it took Reece and Em some time to get there. And that just made the story that much more effective. I will definitely be reading more of Cole Gibsen's books in the future, that's for sure!
