This devotional is one of my go-to's. Joni is such a gift. Her words are Divinely inspired. Read this, treasure it. You won't regret it.

This devotional book contains daily devotions (the Bible reference, short meditation and a short prayer).

This is deep book of daily reflections, "mapping" the way of faith of someone who has suffered deeply and has got the best out of it, the wisdom of someone going through the fire victoriously (and I am more than sure that there were and are many days of pain, too - which is very human experience and without it there would be no depth). Also, this means that one should go deep when reading these short reflections, there is no cheap, superficial plaster to be found. Which, on the other hand, means that a simple joy is sometimes missing, too (but this is only my personal opinion and I very well might be wrong).
Here in the book I connect best with the devotions that are personal, that have some authentic reflection of Ms Eareckson Tada´s life and feelings.

I think that this devotional is not for everybody. But a person wishing to go deeper (and maybe also having some deeper knowledge of the Christian faith and Christian way of meditation) can find a wealth of wisdom here.

Joni’s book always settle in my heart. I haven’t read one that hasn’t brought tears to my eyes, put warmth in my heart, and evokes lots of pondering in my mind.

She had such wisdom and faith, I can only strive to be as steadfast as she is.

I suffer from a love/hate feeling towards Joni but this book has given me a greater understanding of her and our Lord. I am enjoying this title and although I suffer from ill health like Joni and there is the odd reading or two for people like me the vast majority of the readings are suitable for all.
I recommend this book for all.
I was given this book by NetGalley and the publisher. This is my voluntary and impartial review.

I love Joni's newest devotional. So real and vulnerable and challenging. I look forward everyday to seeing how she spurs me on to be more like Jesus.

Nothing better than Joni; so much like Billy Graham in putting in writing usable Christian doctrine and encouragement understandable by almost everyone.
