The author is superb at delving intro the characters psyches. The lead character is flawed and I love that. There is much action and suspense which kept me engaged. I look forward to reading more.
Many thanks to the author and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
I found this book to be a confusing mashup of hot button tropes. I like books to at least feel realistic. This didn't qualify.
This is a great read that weaves a bit of religion in with mystery and romance. That is a fine line to accomplish, but S.D. Thames has done it and done it very well.
