Bill Murray once came to play the Dunhill tournament at my university. He crashed a student party and ended up doing the washing up. There, that's pretty much enough of an anecdote for me to be in this book. I think the problem I had was that I was reading this after he had managed to get himself 'cancelled'. I really didn't want to believe that Bill Murray was one of the Awful Ones because I have loved so many films that have him - Scrooged, Groundhog Day, Moonrise Kingdom, Ghostbusters, Lost in Translation. But alas the schtick of being a bit weird in public has worn off. And this makes me very sad. Why can't we have a delightfully strange male film star who actually behaves decently? Sigh.
Hilarious book about eccentric star Bill Murray. Good for a read.
