Mary's father wants her to marry Donald, Baronet of Sleat. But upon meeting they both agree that they will not suit. But Mary gets kidnapped and Donald goes after her. Of course, while they are on the run, they realize that they have fallen in love.

I did really enjoy this story. I always like when the H/H is a little off from the norm and Mary is sure that. Having been raised without a mother, she doesn't have all the fine qualities one would expect from a gentle woman of her class. But that is what I liked about her!!

I can't wait to see what Jarecki comes up with next!
