Fearless is the second book in the adult contemporary fireman romance series called Rescue Squad by Kimberly Kincaid. Each of the books in the Rescue Squad series can be read individually because they each work as a standalone romance, featuring a new couple. I did not read the first book in the series, but I wasn't lost at all while reading. If you are a fan of steamy firefighter romances, then Fearless will hit the spot!
In Fearless we meet our main characters Cole and Savannah. This romance is not your typical firefighter romance, which I really appreciated. The romance is between an instructor and his trainee. I loved that Savannah was a firefighter in training. She is a real spitfire and I loved her! The romance between Cole and Savannah is hot hot hot.
In addition to the great romance and great banter, there is also an interesting mystery for them to solve. Overall, this book was really entertaining and a lot of fun. I need to read more books by Kimberly Kincaid because I really enjoyed Fearless.
The attraction was basically instant, but both tried to ignore it at first. The second half of the book was a lot better than the first half and I did like the romance between them once they gave into their attraction. The sexy times were quite hot and the ending was great.
I really hated the one secondary character, and was very glad when it turned out he was the bad guy.
I love firefighter books, but I must admit I’m having a hard time loving this series. Although I did enjoy this book a lot more than the previous one.
Sorry I was not able to read you book but it went to archive before I could get to it. Sorry once again.
YAY another female firefighter story, I love-
I love the main characters Cole and Savannah. Cole is a great mentor to Savannah; he trained and judged her as he would any other firefighter. I love Savannah's grit and determination to prove herself worthy and not just because she's a firefighting legacy.
There's a bit of forbidden romance going on in the story since they worked together, and I love the fact that they didn't take unnecessary risks (I always get nervous every time characters get on it at their workplace) and keep their work and personal lives separate.
Overall, it's an entertaining story and a way overdue read (I've had this arc for over a year, whoops).
Excellent! Cole is a hot firefighter who loves his job. He has his future planned out with the goal of joining the elite rescue squad at his station. He just has to train the new guy, impress his bosses, and everything will be fantastic. Except the new guy is sassy beautiful Savannah. She has dreamed of following her fathers footsteps and becoming a firefighter. She is ready to tackle anything they throw at her, but she hadn't planned on Cole. Kimberly Kincaid is a must read for me and this book shows once again what a talented writer she is. Five stars!!
I love this story. Book #2 in the Rescue Squad series of firefighters. I felt the sparks right away between Cole and Savannah. Cole is up for a promotion and he must help mentor the new rookie, Savannah. She is from a firefighting family, but she doesn't want favoritism, so she joins a squad elsewhere. She is tough and brave, but not all the men are okay with having a female working along side them in their dangerous profession. She handles herself well, but someone has it in for her. Cole soon realizes that Savannah is a true firefighter and has her back. The story is well written and I sailed right thru it.
