Inescapable is the first in the contemporary romance Men of Mercy series by Joss Wood. This was a really quick and fun read for me. I finished it in a few short hours and I think it is perfect for an afternoon by the pool or wrapped up in a blanket by a fire. (so basically, perfect for any time) I enjoyed Inescapable and I would be interested in continuing on with the next books in the Men of Mercy Series. It would be cool to check in on the other members of the security firm.

In Inescapable we meet our main characters Kai and Felicity “Flick”. Flick lives in the small town of Mercy, which is where Kai's security firm is headquartered. Kai has never been a fan of the small town setting, but when his friend has to go out of town, Kai has to stay in town to run the business, which is how he runs into Flick. I loved Kai and Flick together. I think they make an awesome couple. I wish I saw more couples complement each other like they do.

I can't wait to see Sawyer's story. I love this kind of book setup because getting to see each of the characters overlap in the stories is always a lot of fun. This was a fun read that will be a great series to pick up whenever I am looking for some feel good fun romance.
