The conclusion is finally here! Truth be told, I should have waited until they were all out because I think my reading experience would have been SO different if I read all three books together. Sugar Daddy was on my top fave list and it completely WOW’d me from the moment I opened the book. Sugar Rush answered some questions but left readers with more and now Sugar Free ties it all together and tells the whole story and gives readers the finale that they are looking for.
Sugar Free is still intense and suspenseful. You won’t know what will happen to these characters and will be biting your nails waiting for the outcome. Ms. Bennett still delivers the heat though I appreciated that it was second to the intense drama of the story and giving readers the answers to the questions building up throughout the series.
My favorite part is the epilogue and I had such a smile on my face!
I truly can’t give away anything away in this review without revealing what happens so I will just say – read the books together! I believe together it will make for a reading experience that is captivating, suspenseful and will keep you at the edge of your seat until the very, very end!
Ms. Bennett is another new author to me and I can’t wait to read more from her!
Hated the way the previous book ended on a cliffy and this one does too! *cries* I'm seriously rooting for Sela and Beck! The girl deserves a break and someone who loves her for who she is now! And I love the fact that Beck is shaping up to be that!
Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.
Thank god this one picks up immediately after the events in Sugar Daddy. Beck is coming to terms with the fact that his girlfriend has this traumatic past at the hands of his best friend. He wants to be there for her, but he's still trying to wrap his head around everything he learned in a very short time. I liked that we've seen Sela come into herself over the past two books. She's growing and a large part of that is thanks to Beck. I love how supportive and protective he is of her, without being domineering. It's really refreshing.
And that ending! OMG. I can't. It was crazy and, much like Sugar Daddy, you need to have Sugar Free loaded and ready to go as soon as you finish Sugar Rush, because oh boy.
Sugar Rush picks up right where the previous book left us, thank goodness, but that Sugar Daddy left this reader hanging big time. Luckily things are resolved fairly quickly, and we get back to revenge plotting and some couple time with Sela and Beck. Overall this installment was a quick, entertaining read what will leave you wanting to get your hands on this last book.
I enjoyed this book. It pulled you right in and kept you turning the pages. This book was well written and I had no issues following the story.
What the heck was she thinking?! Ugh... They were so close. Sela just had to say, go suck it and all would have turned out the way it was supposed. But no! She had to go there. I'm so frustrated with her. Beck was doing everything he could to get them both out of it and put J.T. where he belonged and she just had to go against what she knew Beck wouldn't want her to do.
Also... the moment Beck said what happened to Caroline, I knew. I don't know why they didn't put two and two together before.
Moving on to the next one.
Two souls who have preferred to be alone for holidays past, now bonded through circumstance, passion, and a focused need for revenge.
The story picks up right where book 1 ended.(Don't read this book first. Go back to Sugar Baby)
The pain and gut wrenching emotions that ended book 1, returned to me without much prompting. Sela and Beck's relationship ends in a tragic heap of hurt, unbelieved truths, mistrust and receipt. Props to the author for not dragging it out with overtold stories.
There isn't a lot that can be told without giving away most of what took place in book 2. However, I felt this book was ALL ABOUT THAT SLEAZE. (get that play on words? ahaha) I enjoyed the addition of Dennis Flaherty, and the play "words" about his character was kinda chuckle worthy. He added depth to the story by providing the reader with a well dressed sleaze. JT's character was also expanded upon and just made him more of a dirt bag.
Honestly, the story followed a good progression that I am hoping will be revealed in the conclusion of the series/trilogy. The plot weaves and turns with ways to overturn the hurt that has been done to Sela. I will await conclusion of the series because I HAVE to know what happens with Beck, Sela and JT.
Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors out there! I will read whatever she puts out! I love everything she writes!
I didn't like this one quite as much as the first book in the series. Some of the actions of Sela and Beckett didn't make nearly as much sense as they did the first time, and I thought they acted in ways that were a little outside their established character stories.

Killing me...killing me...killing me! This series is so addictive and crazy! I love Beck and Sela...what a team! My nerves are all tightened up right now with the ending. Deep breaths. These are fictional characters and I shouldn't get so carried away. Who am I kidding? I need to read book three right now!
SEXY. TWISTED. SUSPENSEFUL. INTENSE. PASSIONATE. A MUST READ IN ROMANCE!
This was even better than the previous one! Though the ending was brutal.
Loved seeing more of Selah and Beckett! I'm worried about how things are going to play out!
I am really enjoying the romance between these two!
Great series by Sawyer Bennett! Love her books and writing style!
