A fairly predictable ho hum Regency romance novella. The high spirited Miss Kate Frazer has toned down her behaviour and scored a suitor—who leaves her at the altar.
Lucius Caulfield, the erstwhile bridegroom has been delayed by a storm. His wedding to Kate’s dowry is off and Kate’s disappeared.
Of course he’s in for the surprise of his life.

I neither loved nor hated this book. I just couldn't get into this book. The characters for me were just not that interesting. I am not saying that this is a bad book it was just one that did not make me excited to get back to it.
To me, it doesn't matter what name this author writes under- Debbie Raleigh or Alexandra Ivy. Either way, her novels are wonderful. I just need to see her name written and I'm already half way to buying it.
I love Miss Frazer and her journey of self-discovery and the fact that Luc is almost struck dumb considering that he assumes her to be a staid woman with not much more to offer but a good dowery.
A great romp which I would reccomend to anyone.
