This one was a really nice surprise. Beautifully written, well paced with many moments that made me laugh, some where I was a bit teary and a few where for a moment it would take my breath away waiting to see what would happen in the next moment. My only niggling annoyance is that it is written in the first person which as a preference I'm not keen on. For this book it stopped me from really seeing what made Pari feel the way she did about Rachel, especially in the first half or so of the book. But otherwise I'm amazed how much of Pari I could get a grasp on. Well done

Far From Home has to be one of my favourite books so far published by Riptide Publishing. It was easy to care for both of the main characters even though it was written in the first person and in Rachel's point of view. I thought that the two had chemistry but I was surprised when they acted on their feelings for each other but it was still written nicely.
It was interesting for me to read about someone living with anorexia and her daily struggles.
I will definitely be reading Lorelie Brown's sequel of the Belladonna Ink series.
