*This was another review of mine that seems to have not been posted or to have vanished but that I definitely wrote. I was able to find my original review of this one, so I am posting it below.*
Great photos! The photos in this book are gorgeous. That's a really important part of cookbooks for me and this one doesn't disappoint. I was only able to try a few of the recipes as my blender wasn't strong enough for some of them but the ones I tried were delicious. Definitely recommend this book if you like to use your blender (and have a good one),
This is a wonderful book. The variety of recipes included is great - blenders aren't just for smoothies anymore! It's clear that much care went into the research and preparation of the recipes. And the extras put it over the top - the guide to key ingredients, the extensive resources section, and the nutritional boosters for each recipe make it extremely useful and customizable.
I didn't completely enjoy this cookbook. I don't normally eat these types of recipes, so finding one for me was difficult. Being a picky eater isn't easy!

Review:
Although I'd not previously heard of The Blender Girl, I'm guilty of having a vitamix I barely use, so thought this book would be a great aide to finding ways to utilise it more. The introduction is great, with Masters laying out targets including reducing inflammation and gaining energy. Rather than being in divisions like other cookbooks, the recipes are also laid out in these sections, which can make it time consuming when trying to find a particular recipe. That's my only criticism though. The recipes themselves are vibrant and delicious. Sweet potato and macadamia soup is my personal favourite!
I received an ARC from the publisher via Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.
This is a really great recipe book with 100 recipes you can make in a blender - from smoothies to snacks, salads, sides and soups there are lots of different recipes. I will definitely be trying the soup recipes once the colder weather is here and there are recipes for nachos, curries, burgers and pasta sauces which all look amazing.
The recipes are geared towards the health conscious and instead of sections for snacks and soups as most recipe books do this has sections for energy, detox, weight loss and so on and so you turn to that section of the book to see what recipes there are.
The recipes are based around American food sources and so it may be a challenge to find some of the ingredients here in Australia as there were some I didn't recognise.
I wish there were images for each recipe as that is what tempts me to get busy in the kitchen seeing what the finished dish should look like. Reading this as an e-book was also difficult and a hard copy version of this book is a must.
I recommend this book to anyone who has a blender it will give you some great ideas for different dishes you can make with it.
Blender is the most common and used kitchen tool in every kitchen. There are about 100 delicious recipes with the blender. Wonderful collection........
Gorgeous photos! There were so many beautiful recipes included in this book and each chock-full of superfoods and amazing ingredients! My only wish would have been for more simple recipes with smaller ingredients lists - I think that would have balanced out the more complicated recipes.
I like how this author gives a variety of recipes to help the healing process in the body. She is very creative and her cook books are easy to follow. She talks about eating for energy, helping your immune system, drinking anti-inflammatory items , how to detox and lose weight.
I was glad she talked about these things in simple terms along with low carbs, alkaline forming, probiotic promoting foods and so much more.
I think this is a must read for everyone.
