This had so many elements that I love vampire, weres and their mates; and even better your mate can be a different species but there were too many problems that I could not overcome, the first being the writing perspective which I think was meant to be the third person but in too many instances if is impossible to tell which he the author is referring. The second problem is this is clearly a spin-off to another series, but there is no mention made of this until you get into the story and you read something that wasn’t in this book and you’re mind is going “WTH”. If you’re going to do a spin-off series it would be nice if you informed the reader.
