I'm not a huge fan of basketball but I like a good story on love, hope and sport.
This book was all of that and I truly loved reading it.

An unexpected story of a high school in Baltimore. What really makes this story stand out is that the high school is in the inner city of Baltimore and one of the highest crime rates around. Yet the basketball coach was able to get a group of young boys to play the game, win and graduate. Four of those boys would go on to play in the NBA. Muggsy Bogues, Reggie Williams, David Wingate, and Reggie Lewis. The author takes you through the story of Dunbar high school and how those young men survived when others did not. Their coach Bob Wade and his story was just as inspiring. I remember watching these players in the NBA and a couple in college they were all very good players. Especially Muggsy I thought I was special for being small. He reminded me of Nate “Tiny” Archibald, but I think Muggsy was smaller than him. This was a very good book and worth the read.
