Could not make it past the first chapter. I love Stacia Kane's Downside Ghost series but this one did not hit the mark for me.
Made for Sin by Stacia Kane is a fabulous read. Humor, suspense and complex characters drive the story. I would love to read more about these characters and the world they inhabit. Highly recommend.
MADE FOR SIN is set in an alternate universe where there is magic and dragons and most people are not safe.
E L Speare is a Las Vegas Private Investigator.. a man who is cursed with the need to commit sins. He has a daily quota that must be met and if he misses a deadline .. well, there's hell to pay.
Speare's latest case is the murder of a crime boss, found without his right arm. Speare knows his arm was severed by a demon-sword... a powerful tool of the underworld.
As the bodies pile up, all dismembered in one way or the other, Speare calls in reinforcements... namely Ardeth Coyle. She's a temptress and Speare knows this is one sin he must not commit.
This is not a genre I normally read. I didn't particularly care for the characters and my imagination does not run to any credibility when it comes to demons and dragons.
Have not had a chance to read the book yet. This will get updated as soon as I read the book. If this book is part of a series it will be included when all the books have been read.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Loveswept for the ARC for my honest review. I am a bit late-sorry. I haven't read anything by Stacia Kane before and I enjoyed this book. I am not a big fan of Mafia books but this is far removed from it so I was okay with it. I enjoyed the characters and the chemistry. I think this is a good book for most people who enjoy paranormal.
