Normally emotional roller coaster is something I truly fancy, but for some reason, this book doesn’t entirely strike a chord. Maybe what could have helped is a bit more cultural context where the two characters are from, to bind, and also to paint a story with more depth who may not know a lot. Having said that, among all the LGBT books I’ve read, this certainly falls into a niche, addressing stories in the muslin community. Maybe for some others, this book will resonate more.
