As Faith McMann grapples with her past, she becomes increasingly embroiled in a series of violent confrontations that force her to confront not just her adversaries, but also her own motivations and desires for revenge. The author T.R. Ragan has expertly weaved a plot that is both intricate and fast-paced, ensuring that readers are constantly on the edge of their seats.
This story had a good plot and I really like the character of Faith. I did not read Furious and I must now go back and do so in order to understand more of the backstory. She is on a quest to find her children and will stop at nothing.
Many thanks to Thomas & Mercer and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
An engaging, suspenseful tale that’ll keep you guessing! The characters are relatable & the storyline is perfectly placed - looking forward to more with this author!! Thanks to netgalley for the opportunity to read & review.
Great novel, I wish I had read the first one beforehand but only because the story is so good. Cannot wait for more!!
I have just finished reading this novel, which I am late in doing so.
I have read one other novel (Abducted) which is from another series, but did not read the first book in the Faith McMann trilogy. I will no doubt read the first book soon, as I feel as if I am missing out somewhere. I like to feel I get to know the characters from the beginning etc. I have read a few books on the subject of trafficking and it never fails to pull at my heartstrings to think what children go through.
Great read. Caught my attention and held it to the very end. Will probably read it agin.
