This book is not a genre subtype that I frequently read which probably played a role in my enjoyment (or of lack thereof) of the book. I found it to be an okay read, not fantastic, but a fair way to pass the time when traveling on a weekend.

Considering I’m a lover of historical romance it’s no surprise I was attached to this. A cute story that kept me engaged till the last page. Would give the rest a chance too.

Well written historical romance novel, typical Regency romance without a lot of twists but had a good story line.

It was a quick read and nice to see the H grow up. I like the selflessness of the H who provides a reality check to the H. I would have like it to start a bit quicker though.
