A star crossed romance against the backdrop of beautiful Geneva? What could go wrong? Everything. If not done properly this book would have a been a waste of time and paper but lucky for us Ms Dangelico has done an amazing job with the background she had. Also to know that this was a debut novel? Amazing. I’m two years too late for it but I am in love with this book. The writing was right up my alley and I loved how non-one-dimensional all the characters were.

We have our brooding hero and our sweet heroine. Their love wasn’t instantaneous. It built along the way and we saw how it built. There was lust at first and later we see the romance. The whole journey of it was believable. I loved how everything played out except maybe the end. She took a stupid decision but I know she was trying to save him. I really hope their baby does make it. They need that healing moment between them.

I dying to read the second installment so nice I didn’t know this would end in a cliffhanger. Normally I stay away from books that have cliffhangers and if I don’t have the second book but I was blindsided by this one. Hopefully I’ll be able to get my hands on the second book too.
