I tried, I swear I tried but I was bored by this one unfortunately. It was your typical NA novel and nothing bad about it but nothing amazing to capture me either. There are some books with twists and turns that cripple our minds and some books that have the day to-day simple things that make our heart swell and this books just fall flat somewhere between. Although the characters are sweet and nice there was nothing to make me feel attached to them. They kinda just fell flat (like I mentioned earlier).

I really don't want to say anything too bad because this was really a good book just not my cup of tea I think. Although the adoption of the teenagers and the message underlying very subtly on giving everyone a chance to redeem themselves (not in the romantic sense) was a good side plot.

Very sweet and heartfelt! Loved the connection between Tino and Natalie. Some good steam between the 2. Hot stuff! Loved all the family moments too. Natalie comes from a wealthy family; her family donates money to help those that need it, Natalie takes a hands on approach to helping. She’s working at a community center type place to fix it up. She meets Tino there; he’s just out of the military to be there for his mom since his dad passed away. He’s having a rough time trying to figure out what he wants to do with the rest of his life; he gets in his own way sometimes. He doesn’t feel like he has much to offer; especially to someone from wealth like Natalie. There’s also some issues that stem from Tino’s past with being adopted. I was entertained the whole time! I didn’t read the first book, but I really want to now. Sounds like it was a great story! This book flowed nicely and I appreciated all the characters. Lovely story! I’m excited to go back and read the first brother’s story and really looking forward to reading the youngest brother’s story!

Great book potential. But was not gripping enough to catch my attention

Tino and Natalie are very insecure in their own right, but if they can overcome them - their budding relationship just might work out! I have enjoyed this series by Morgan and I can't wait to read the next one.

I've been a fan of Alexis Morgan's paranormal books for years, so I was curious how she would be writing a contemporary series. This is book #2 in Sergeant Joe's boys, a trio of men who were the foster sons of the late Sergeant Joe and his wife and it just as good and heartfelt as the first story. Tino is now out of the military and feeling a little lost in what to do with his life. He meets the feisty Natalie who is trying to make a difference by restoring a run down part of town. They make a sweet and fun couple and Natalie's grandpa steals a scene or two. A sweet story with good characters and deserving of their HEA.

This was a sweet story about acceptance and love. Tina Gianelli had started out in a loving family until his parents were killed and he was passed from relative to relative and then to foster homes. Finally when Sergeant Joe and his wife, Marlene, adopted Tino when he was a teenager, along with two other boys, did he begin to see true love again. He served ten years in the Army and had returned home after his dad's death to help his mom if she needed it. He worked in the family construction business but was still struggling to return to civilian life and decide what he wanted to be when he grew up. His mom told him about a volunteer opportunity to help in a community center renovation and hoped it would give him something to keep himself busy.

Natalie Bennigan was an heiress who ran a non-profit foundation funded by her Grandpa's money. She was currently overseeing a renovation of a community center in Seattle. She had also just broken her engagement to a spoiled, rich man who really couldn't 'be interested in what was important to Natalie. It was a the community center renovation that she met Tino. There was an instant attraction between the two of them. All the men she dated had only been interested in either her money or what she could do for them. Tina was different. He didn't know who she was or how much she was worth. He only saw her and what was important to her and enjoyed spending time with her.

Tino had demons to fight from his past. Would he ever be able to feel worthy of Natalie? Would Natalie's family ever accept that he was good enough to be with her?

This was a beautiful love story but my only criticism is the descriptive sex scenes and occasional use of foul language. Those are more of a turnoff or a distraction to me.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Always Be True: Tino was another solid edition to the Sergeant Joe's Boys series written by Alexis Morgan about 3 adoptive brothers who are not brothers by blood but became brothers through circumstance.

Tino is home from his his military career and trying to figure out what's next in his life when he meets Natalie. He's instantly attracted to her but struggles because he can't accept that someone of her social status and financial background would want someone like him in her life. While he struggles to come to grips with the difference in their bank accounts, Tino is slowly falling for the lovely Natalie.

Natalie was the type of heroine that I loved. She's selfless, believes in giving back to the community and even though she filthy rich, she doesn't see the need to throw her money at those around her. She loves Tino for the man that he is and it doesn't matter to her that he has a working class background.

What I loved most about this book were the supporting characters. The older couples at the senior citizens center and Natalie Grandfather just made the entire book come alive for me. I devoured this one in just a few short hours and look forward to reading the remaining books in the series.
