What a fascinating read! This is my first introduction to the writing of Amos Oz and I am so sorry I didn't begin sooner. The story is so complex and fascinating, reflecting on so many facets of the complexities of Israeli living.
I was so impressed that I plan on going back and reading much more of his works.

I read about a third before I threw in the towel. I couldn't get very attached to any of the characters or the Judas/Jesus paragraphs. I hope my reader friends have better luck :)
