I really wanted to like the book. Veronica was a like-able character from the get-go. She didn’t foolishly trust Collin and with reason too and he didn’t go on how gorgeous she was and was vary of her himself. He is human after all and did notice her physical attributes but in the beginning he didn’t let it affect his decisions. But as every NA you see them faking for each other despite the problems and secrecy they have in their lives.

Sounds good and safe for a NA right? That’s the thing. It’s too safe, a story we’ve heard a countless times. True, veronica and Collin are both sweethearts and it’s hard not to like them. Still the story doesn’t grab you by your necks (pun not intended) as much as I wanted it to.

After having this book on my shelf for a long time I ended up losing interest on it so I won't be reading this one.

A cute summer romance. A bit predictable and lacking intensity, but good nonetheless.
