Fascinating biography of a legendary lover, who in reality was so much more. What I really liked about the book was that it provided a rich historical context for the “adventures” of Casanova. Well written and certainly not dry or boring. Read it!

This is an exhaustive biography of Casanova. It details his life from beginning to end. The problem is most of this book is just a retelling of what Casanova did. He went here, he slept with these women, repeat. According to this book Casanova just roamed from place to place gambling and having sex and it all gets boring after awhile. The text does include some illustrations. If you have never read anything about Casanova you might find this book interesting.
