Noelle Rana is back in Boston to face the man who broke her heart and left her to pick up the pieces. This time she's not back for her heart, she's back for help with her future.

Aiden Kent is convinced her return is just another scheme, she must be up to something and doesn't care to know the reason. The pain is still raw for him, her father destroyed his mother and that broke his heart. Then her her brother destroyed his life and shattered it. Will he be able to honor the reason for her return despite his mother requesting he complete this one final task?

When a flooded apartment forces Noelle to find alternative housing Aiden offers her a place to stay. Why would he do this if she caused him that much pain? So many things are left unsettled between them despite how they ended things. Will they be able to clear the air once and for all?

I love a story with compelling characters, especially ones with a history as rich and deep as Aiden and Noelle. They both have family obligations that run deep, when they discover their feelings are still strong will they be able to overcome what happened?

A few extra surprises leave you turning page after page which means you just might finish it in one sitting. Once you start reading you are pulled in and I can't wait to read more from Naima, she's on my auto-buy list and every read is a satisfying adventure. We can all use a little spice in our lives.
