I would like to thank E. Ardell & 48Fourteen for my copy of the ARC. Due to this kind gesture, I've decided to leave a review.

I'm at war with myself over my rating for this book. It kept my interest but somewhere in the middle it kinda fell flat and I didn't know where it was going but it certainly picked back up near the end so I think I would give it a solid 3.

When 3 brothers discover they aren't quite human but not quite full-blown Alien, contacted by a fourth brother who doesn't seem to be on earth what do you do? Do you use your psychic powers to try and help a lost brother in need or do you carry on your normal day to day mundane high school routine? They always say blood is thicker than water.

I liked the story, it did keep me reading and I wanted to finish the book. Twin hot brothers with a younger brother who mostly do the usual high school kids stuff until you throw that aliens now live on earth was a good way to start. I feel it started off pretty solid, got a little lost, or I got little lost? but then came back together at the end with a god damn CLIFFHANGER!

The book had some great unique points, each chapter was from the POV of one of the brothers which I really liked, it was entirely male-based and you were in their heads. There was no love triangle so you weren't fighting for who you wanted to ship off into the sunset.

Every character has a likeable part in the book which I don't usually get the chance of. Usually, there's someone I completely hate and want to claw my eyes out but not here! All four male characters are super likeable and funny. We have Devon & Lyle, the super hot twins. Lawrie who is pretty impressionable but real smart at the same time. The fourth brother Evan seems a lot like Lawrie and I feel we will see a lot more of him in the second book. Their younger sister Nikki is completely adorable and you do shed a tear or two when she doesn't understand what's happening. Her relationship with Devon is the sweetest thing ever!

All in all, I liked the book. I'm looking forward to seeing how the worlds are built in the second book and hopefully, it carries on where it left off. If you like hot alien demi-god types this is your jam!

"Bet he wants to go back to being the guy girls write about on the bathroom wall."
