OMG!!!! The least Shaughnessy manly man of them all just stole the show! Riley and Savannah are my new favorite couple. They are sweet, a bit snarky, insecure, but so perfect for one another. And Owen and Darcy are amazing in this one too! If you're looking for a book that gives you a sexy rockstar trying to find his voice again and snarky but Sweet report trying to find her writing voice this is the story for you!!!

This Is Our Song was a really cute read. I loved watching Riley and Savannah figure things out. Oh, they were wonderful.
Savannah is an entertainment reporter. She is set to write a big story, but gets pulled off that to interview Riley Shaughnessy, something she is not happy about. She doesn't really know Riley, but she knows people like him. She figured he is just some spoiled rich boy who sings. So needless to say she does not want to spend a month really getting to know him.
Riley is amazing. Yes, he is a rock star, but he doesn't let that get to his head. Or he didn't. He has money, but he does not spend it all willy nilly. He has been trying to write a solo album now for a while and the record label is getting frustrated that he is not finished yet. He was doing so well, but then something happened that made the music go away. He starts questioning himself and if he can even do this and that makes him angry. He just doesn't know how to get the music back.
When Savannah and Riley meet it was so cute/hilarious. Riley definitely wasn't in a good mood and Savannah is not at all happy with him. He doesn't know that she is the reporter that will be interviewing him, but once he talks to her he likes her. He wants to get to know her, only how can that happen when she has a job to do?
These two were so much fun to read. Riley is such a great guy. I normally don't like rock star romances, but Riley is just like a normal guy who happens to be a rock star. He loves his family, he would do anything for them. He is wonderful. And Savannah is just as great. She quickly starts to see that the idea she had of who Riley is was all wrong. That he is not that guy. That he is actually pretty incredible, but she can't let him get too close because that could taint her story.
Oh, these two have a lot of obstacles in their way, but they somehow manage to figure it out. Riley can be a bit sensitive at times, but I still loved him. This was a really great read. I love these Shaughnessy Brothers books. Really I just love the Shaughnessy's. They are a wonderful family and wonderful characters.

Samantha Chase always make me smile with her characters and stories. I have fallen for all of the Shaughnessy's but I think so far Riley is my favorite. He is a sexy rockstar but he is also down to earth and a really good guy. Savannah is very opinionated and at times I love her for it and at other times she needs to be a little less judgmental. She is sassy and not afraid to tell Riley what she thinks. I personally want to be her so Riley can be all mine.

This book is about Riley the singer of the family. Now his band has gone their separate ways and he is working on his solo album but it is not coming along. Trying to buy himself more time he agrees to the one thing he does not like doing; interviews. Entertainment reporter Savannah Daly was not looking forward to be assigned as the person to interview Riley. After complaining to her boss and losing she is looking forward to meeting what she expects to be an arrogant, spoiled, self-indulgent, rock star. She has never even listened to any of his band’s music. She is surprised the night before she is to meet him, to actually notice him sitting next to her at a little bar, restaurant along the beach. When later that same night she comes across him walking quickly not wanting to be recognized. She gives him a lift back to his vehicle and is wondering why he not has any security and is equally shocked to see a truck not a fancy sports car. The next day she is equally surprised when he makes them lunch and his house is something that she could see herself living in, especially the game room he has down stairs. The story picks up when she agrees to go back to his home town and actually likes his family. Her mom and dad show up and instead of helping to get out of something they also end up going. Now his writing is taking off along with the passion between them. Just when you think it will work out Riley blows it when they come back to L.A. and when he realizes his mistake he can’t find her for she quit her job. Now his album done and the record company wanting him to go on the road how is he going to find her? Read the book and find out what happens. A good story to go along with the rest of the series.

I always do my very best to write a review that will do the book justice, I swear my reviews never sound as good as everyone else's! But I'll always do my best. :)
This is Our Song was... perfection.
Savannah is a reporter that has been given the assignment to interview Riley Shaughnessy. Riley thinks that taking her with him to visit his family will keep things cool between the two of them. Boy was he ever wrong!
Their connection is red hot, and you will find yourself reading this one late into the night to see how everything ends for these two fantastic characters. This book had me laughing, crying, and swooning throughout the entire thing.
Samantha Chase... Bravo!

Seriously, if you can write a story that makes me laugh, makes me cry and well leave me wanting more, then hello 5 stars. This Is Our Song is worth every one of those stars.
Riley Shaughnessy is in a huge flunk, unable to move forward in his solo career after splitting from his rock group, his manager and friend has suggested an interview for a magazine. Not looking forward to it but having not many other choices, Riley decides to meet with Savannah. He never expected that her presence would do more for him than anybody ever has, this includes his family.
Savannah Daly has just been told she is off to interview Riley Shaughnessy, rockstar God, but to her he’s another singer with to much attitude and not much else. With the interview setup and 1 month to get it done, Savannah gets to work on this man. As it was for Riley, she could never see the impact he would have on her life. While getting a in depth look into Riley, his music career and the delightful Shaughnessy family who have so much love for each other, Savannah will become privy to some of Riley‘s deepest darkest secrets, the music that haunts him and the future he wishes for.
Together the pair who were against each other in the beginning will become the glue that will recreate Riley‘s lost music while creating new memories. But with the perfection of working together, living together and loving together, pasts will come back and destroy the couple. Giving into their attraction and the chemistry that was off the charts should have been easy, and it was until the real world comes back to ruin them.
2 pigheaded people, and huge family and a twin who will do anything to see there brother happy. Riley will finally be the one being directed instead of the instigator, as Ian, Hugh, Anna, Zoe, Owen, Quinn and Darcy push Riley to return to Savannah. The past cannot destroy their future, but will it all be to late when he once again hits the big league without his Savannah. She is the reason he got his groove back and she should be there to help him reap the rewards.

After reading this story, and not having read the first three books in the series, I feel like I've really missed out on something special. I really enjoyed the family dynamics of the Shaughnessys and now feel the need to know the Aiden, Hugh, and Quinn's full stories as well.
Riley and Savannah's story is tender, romantic, and will draw you in from the onset. Family is key to the Shaughnessys and the love and support that is present throughout the story is heartwarming. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to come away with a warm heart and a smile.
This book was provided by the Publisher and Netgalley, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

One More Kiss is the first book in Samantha Chases's new Shaughnessy spin-off series. The members of the rock band Shaughnessy all decide to take a break and try their hand at individual endeavors. For Matt Reed that includes giving Broadway a try. When that fails, Matt needs some place to escape from all the bad press. He returns to his hometown in North Carolina. Samantha once again spins a sweet romantic tale. This time the love story involves Matt and his best friend Aaron's little sister Vivienne. The story builds gradually drawing the reader into the tension between these two young people. I love the writing style used by Samantha Chase. I am never disappointed by her books. Be sure to get acquainted with Matt and Vivienne soon.

Riley has had difficulty the last year since he decided to go solo in his music career so he has agreed to allow a magazine to interview him and Savannah is assigned to interview Riley for the article against her wishes. Riley takes Savannah to meet his family as he needs their support and thinks that having them around will make the interview more comfortable. As they get to know each other they grow closer and she helps him overcome the difficulties he has been having writing music however the past becomes the present and will they be able to overcome it or will it break them apart? Samantha Chase has a wonderful way of creating a family of characters that draw you in every time. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book

You know it's a good book when it can make you smile, laugh, cry, keep you guessing, and walk away feeing good all over. And that's exactly what this book did for me. Savannah is a hard working, smart, and not very happy when she gets assigned to do an interview on rock star Riley Shaughnessy. She thinks he is highly overrated. Riley Shaughnessy is kind of in a musical funk. He can not seem to find the music within to finish his solo album, so to appease his publishers he agrees to do in interview. I really love Riley and Savannah's story. It really tugged at my heart strings in certain spots. Add in the rest of the Shaughnessy's and I could not get enough of this book!! It is definitely very different from the other Shaughnessy stories but is a wonderful addition!! I can not wait for more Shaughnessy stories!!

This was another awesome Samantha Chase, Shaughnessy book. I truly loved it!
Great characters, great character interaction. Sweet story line. Love the big family theme

I was so not expecting the emotional journey that Samantha Chase takes her characters on in This Is Our Song and that’s not a bad thing. Much like the heroine did to the hero in this book, I judged this book by the cover and having never read this author before I thought it was be a simple, light, fluffy two main characters and the way they fell into a relationship, I was enthralled with every detail of this story, and I fell in love with every character in this book, but it was so much more. I was simply captivated by them and now I want to go back and read the previous books in this series and am salivating over the next book which will be the twin of the hero in this book. To be quite honest, I am now a huge fan of this author from this ONE book; she transported me with her words into the world of this family and I don’t want to leave it.
Taking a break from his rock star success to write and record a solo album Riley Shaughnessy’s time is running out. A year after he is passed over for a rock legends show, he is struggling to come up with the remainder of the songs he needs and his label, not to mention his fans are putting pressure on him. To appease the label he agrees to an in-depth interview even though he really doesn’t want to do it, he figures he can fake his way through it but what he doesn’t count on is Savannah Daly or the connection he feels immediately with her.
This is a complex story with many layers and throughout it all is Riley and Savannah trying to deny their attraction and remain professional and failing miserably at it. From the instant they meet, there is just something about the two of them together that is special and the more time they spend together the more obvious it becomes. When Riley takes her to North Carolina to spend time with his family, hoping to put some space between them and maybe even overwhelm her she becomes the center of attention and everyone loves her and she quickly falls in love with them. What I loved was that Savannah didn’t fawn over Riley in fact when they first met she told him she didn’t think much of his talent and while he did prove her otherwise, she never really cut him any slack. She pushed him to examine all parts of his life, she made him dig deep into his soul and because of that and her insistent pushing he came out of his slump and wrote some of the best music of his career. While Savannah refused to take credit for any of it, Riley knew she was important to him not only for his creativity but because she handled him with tough love, something no one had ever done for him before. He adored her for making him examine his life and for the fact that she truly enjoyed being with just him, no Riley the rock star. Keep in mind this is a sweet romance and not your typical sex, drugs and rock & roll romance, they do have sex but it isn’t “seen,” but to be honest I didn’t even miss it.
There was just so much good in this book and it was incredibly hard to put down for any length of time, I wanted to stay immersed and revel in its wonderfulness. Sometimes an author comes along and just blows me out of the water and Samantha Chase has done just that with This Is Our Song; I can’t wait to read what she comes up with next.

Music connects our lives - Loved this new story by Samantha Chase! Riley is a very talented musician that is being interviewed by Savannah Daly for an article. Their story is inspirational and filled with humor and music. Enjoy the visit with the rest of the Shaughnessy family. 5 stars! Enjoy!

Another great book from Samantha Chase. Love the characters and their development. The book holds your attention right from the beginning. Can't wait to read her next book.
