I had a really fantastic time reading these books! I've read No Kissing Allowed, but that was 8 years ago, and my memory is just about the worst. I had such a great time with these romances, they were so enjoyable to read!
Workplace romances are a lot of fun to read, because there's a lot of tension, between the attraction between the characters, the the chances of them being caught, given that it's frowned upon. And I had such a great time with these characters as things were progressing!
We do meet Grace in No Kissing Allowed, and we see Cameron and Aidan in No Falling Allowed, and that was the perfect level of connection in a romance series. And one that is so much fun to read, with really fantastic romances, of course!
No Falling Allowed was really great, we got to see Grace with her life turned upside down, and it was so good to see her dealing with it, and her reactions to things. I loved her and Noah, and their relaitonship, it was so great to read!
These were so fantastic to read and I can't wait to read more by Melissa West!
I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss. This is my honest review.
This has been on my TBR pile for so long, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. I'm glad I got the chance to read this and will be on the lookout for more in the future!
I really enjoyed this book! It was fast-paced, engaging riting style and a entertaining romance with fairly low angst- I'm not always Super into the drama elements so I find it refreshing when that's not always present in every romance haha. It was funny, it was charming. I was smiling like a sap or laughing throughout the whole book.
I really liked both main characters, Grace and Noah. Noah was cocky, sexy, but at the same time sweet, loving, and protective of those he loved. Grace was independent, sassy, brave, and sweet but also had her moments of insecurities that she hid behind a 'mask' so this gave her much more character development depth I think. It was well written.
The connection and forming romance between Grace and Noah was really exciting to read. I was hooked from beginning till end and couldn't get enough!. There are well written minor characters present as well and that has me definitely wanting to read the first book as well sometime.
Noah and Grace will really have you glued to the pages. Sparks fly with these two when the southern bartender meets city girl. Grace is experiencing a lot of bad luck and to top it off, her parents have cut her off. Now she is in a new town with a job she can't afford to mess up and she runs into her one night stand! This book just keeps getting better. It was one you have to read all the way through because you can't put it down. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review. I actually really enjoyed this story of Grace and Noah. Grace has a one night stand with Noah when he is visiting family in NY and then he goes back home. He's a very laid back guy who always puts family first. Grace is the daughter of a wealthy family who is trying to find her own place in the world. She ends up getting let go and starts a new job which just so happens to take her to the same place Noah lives. The secondary characters were flushed out and really added to the story instead of just thinking why are you here...Noah and Grace had amazing chemistry and I love that Grace was sassy and independent. This is the second book of the series and I did not read the first one, but I will definitely be going back and checking it out. If you want a big city girl and a small town guy romance I would suggest checking this out.
This was so much fun! Some parts were laugh out loud funny. There was wit, irony and cleverness with romantic anticipation and tummy fluttering lust. Oh the feels this book had. First book by this author and I will definitely be picking up “No Kissinb Allowed” and other books by this author. Would recommend
No Falling Allowed is a quick and cute romance. Noah is a single parent, raising his younger brother after their parents passed away. Grace is a NYC socialite who finds herself disowned and working a wedding down south, where she just so happens to bump into her one-night-stand that did a midnight dash on her. Let’s just say that this story is filled with quite a bit of awkward moments.
I read this story as a stand-alone even though it is the second book in a series. With that being said, I never found myself lost or feeling left out. I’m assuming the previous book is about Grace’s friend, who just so happens to be getting married in this book, but I never felt like I was missing out on some sort of connection between the books. I felt that this story stood out on its own and can totally be read as a stand-alone.
Considering that the beginning of the book begins with a misunderstanding between Grace and Noah, which leads to a one-night-stand, these two hit the ground running. Then when Grace’s life takes a major turn and she ends up down south helping plan a wedding, only to run into Noah, things get even more juicy. Especially since Noah snuck out of her apartment in the middle of the night without so much as a note. Now they find themselves getting thrown together left and right as Grace tries to show her new boss that she can be an amazing wedding planner.
I really enjoyed my time reading Grace and Noah’s story. It was a cute, quick read that had me wishing for more time with these two characters.
I really enjoyed this book. It was kind of refreshing. Though I do have some bones to pick.
First off, Grace had wayward thoughts about herself that weren’t addressed and I think that they should have been. Twice she talked about some underlying childhood trauma and how she was “a fat girl in a skinny girl’s body” which was worrying.
Second, Noah was super concerned about his brother, which I get, but it seemed a little excessive to me. Like I get it. *BECOMING VAGUE TO AVOID SPOILERS* You think you caused something and made your brother into what he is now.
Maybe they all needed therapy.
Grace’s dad also seemed a little weird in terms of the attitude he took.
It was all just a little glossed over. I loved their relationship. Grace and Noah were super hot together and they weren’t bad for each other. Except I think that perhaps they needed to talk a little but more about their feelings and thoughts.

This was the first book of the author that I read and I found it very cool. The cover is beautiful and the synopsis caught attention.Grace and Noah have chemistry and some of the dramas I found to be somewhat unneccessary.
It is a good pastime, but it is very simple, the writing does not involve as many emotions although the subject allows.
