I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I will admit this was such a hard read for me to get into. I had received this so long ago but was just now able to finish it. The story was super slow but it did get better in the end. I guess I’m now ready for book 2.

I really didn't like Albina in this story. I just couldn't connect with her. She says she is in love with a man that she has barely spoken to and then will do anything to get his attention. I just felt like she was not a strong female lead and I just really couldn't get into the story...

This novel was absolutely not my cup of tea though I gave up after 34% of it - Character development, the leads itself, language etc.
