Great writing, engaging storyline and meaningful. Wasn't expecting it from this book but i'm glad i read it

I loved this book. I read a lot and finding truly different and unique stories is a joy. The Lonely Teddy Bear is different and unique. Jink, teddy bear pining for his human friend, decides to leave home and go on the road. I was charmed by all the different people Jink meets along his journey. Then comes the part of the story where the reader does a double-take. Quite an enjoyable book. It is a quick read, but don't hurry through it. If you do, you will wonder if you missed clues along the way. And not a story for young children.

** spoiler alert ** I actually wish I hadn't read this book at all. It all seemed so sweet at the beginning, although a bit shallow. Then it suddenly turned at the end into a horror story and was much more graphic than I would like. Images in my brain stuck for days. Awful. Do not read this book!
