**Everything You Need You Have** by Gerad Kite offers a refreshing take on self-discovery and inner strength. With compassion and insight, Kite explores how we already possess the tools to navigate life’s challenges. The book’s warm, conversational style makes it approachable and inspiring. However, some readers might find its practical advice a bit repetitive if they’re already familiar with similar themes. Overall, it’s a gentle nudge towards self-empowerment and reflection, perfect for anyone seeking reassurance and motivation.
This book has provided very insightful advice and is a great source to learning how to be grateful and be more mindful of our every day lives. The author does a very good job at hand holding the reader through the entire process. I definitely enjoyed reading this different perspective since the author decides to look into different practices such as Chinese philosophy to try and find answers to what makes us feel better everyday.
Although the author does not have all the answers, his book definitely helps in trying to figure out other ways to find them.
From time to time I find myself needing this kind of books just to remember that even though there things in life we are doing at the moment but it is also important to remember that a pause, re-evaluating things is needed sometimes. To look at things from a different perspective it is also helpful, and to find the answers. I enjoyed this book very much and totally recommend it.
I'm always interested in topics of "being present" and how to achieve that. I think this book is good for a reader who is just starting their interest in meditation and being present. Since I've read a TON of books in this topic, I felt like the subject matter I was reading was a review of other books I've already read.
