This is a lovely memoir that became a big hit with fourth and fifth graders in our library. It's an easy recommendation for classrooms that have assigned "Wonder," especially for readers that prefer nonfiction. Pair with videos of Mr. Hoge speaking on his life and experience; he's as engaging an orator as he is a writer.
