The series ended the only way I think it could have gone. It was a bit long and drawn out in parts. Glad I got to read it.

This is a really good series! The excitement for this book was insane! I live for the samples!! I can’t wait for everything Lu comes out with!

I had such high expectations going into this last book I think I was over critical as I tried to anticipate each storyline. While the action, climax or twists weren't as prominent as the first two books, I believe Lu created a great short and to the point ending to a fantasy trilogy. I was feeling a little empty near the end, but those last couple chapters are absolutely beautiful that kept my rating up and heart happy.

I didn't realize this is the final of a book series. Not having read the first two books, I was sort of confused when I started this one... Nope. I tried to see if I could get into the story on it's own, but no. It seems to be well-written and I see it has lots of fans, so maybe the series is well worth reading! I have really nothing to judge it on, other than its writing in this book and that seems really great. So, fans of the first two will likely enjoy it (I read one review that said it was too short, so I am betting it is well worth looking into!).

An inevitable conclusion to this wonderful trilogy, this book does not disappoint expectation. It was a little predictable, and it delved a little more into the spiritual realm than I care for, but its emotions are poignant and the main character is crazy, but amazingly still relatable.
