Review will be in the 2/1/2017 issue of Library Journal. As a fan of stories like this and their non-fiction counterparts (Triangle Shirtwaist, Cocoanut Grove, etc.) this was a great true-to-life portrayal.

A fire in a sweatshop in Bangladesh leads to a picture on the news... a pair of Presto pants wrapped around a teenager's face... pants that shouldn't be there. Cameron, legal counsel for the big name clothing brand, Presto, investigates the supply chains that manufacture their clothing. Finding forced slavery and other less than honorable practices, he presents his well-documented studies to the CEO. Rebuffed by his friend and CEO, Cameron gives information to a well-known journalist, Joshua, who also investigates the claims and launches a court case to make the company take responsibility for those hurt through their less than honorable practices. What Joshua and his team find and how it all plays out is a journey that you will have to read to find out.

I really enjoyed reading this book. If you like suspense and redeeming stories, I highly recommend this one. The author has created a page-turner that kept me guessing until the very end. The author tackles the issue of consumer responsibility and business responsibility with true-to-life stories, opening your eyes to the third world countries that manufacture many of the world's goods. Also, the story is very redemptive - for all major characters involved. Five stars!!
