Private enquiry agents Batchelor and Grand are hired to look into the recent death of Charles Dickens, the beloved Author. Dickens had an unconventional life and The duo have to look into many different slices of life to get to the bottom of the mystery. Bits of humor are scatted about, and it's rare to have a smile on your face when reading a historic mystery. The character development is good, but there are many potential suspects to choose from. This is my first book with this author and I will check out others in the series.
