The end of an era...
I just can't. It was easy and fun to read at the same time is was nostalgic and bittersweet.
The end of the first generation of the WDMC and the beginning of the next. Looking forward to it!
Once again this author has written an incredible story about this couple that I absolutely loved in the first book in the series. I love the perfect amount of drama, action and steamy moments within this book. This is a definite must read series for anyone who is a fan of MC romance reads.
ARC received in exchange for an honest review
Oh my word, this series keeps getting better and better.
This book is more like a check in with everyone, but most of all for Sin and Faye. I loved this couple in the first book and throughout the series.
As Sin is in charge of his MC Club, so Faye is in charge of all the women in the club, but not just that she's the one they all go to when they need advice for anything men and women
In this book Faye gets kidnapped by someone that the Wild Dragons would never have thought to look at. Sin realizes exactly what his wife means to him and how much she takes care of him his family and his Club Family.
There is nothing the Club wouldn't do to get their Queen back and beware the one the person that took their Queen, there will be hell to pay!
This book had all the bad ass bikers in it but it was also like a goodbye story!
So I guess it was just right that the series started with Sin and Faye and that it ended with this couple, and also a look at how they affected everyone around them.
Awesome Awesome Awesome
Sin and Faye are one of the best couples! Sexy and funny. We realize just how much Faye means to the club.
Can't wait for the next book!
The king and queen of the Wind Dragons MC are back. Dex and Faye for another round and boy this was one was a game changer. When I read the title I new this book would change a dramatic change.
Faye is back with all of the other old ladies I missed them. Sin is badass as ever and the kids are adorable. The men are still their rowdy selves even with the new additions. Like the blurb says at the end it will be someones last ride.Le me tell you it shocked me as well as it will shock you The aging never mess with the Wind Dragons MC because they show no mercy. This was an amazing addition to the series I can’t say much of anything else with out giving something away. Can’t wait for the next book. Keep them coming I can’t get enough of these badass men and their kickass old ladies.
Love love love this series!! The Wind Dragons MC series is one of my favorite MC series of all time. I have always LOVED Sin and Faye, and Clover is just THE BEST!!! I am a huge fan of Talon too!!! Chantal always comes up with the best stories and I'm always on the edge of my seat!!!
I loved the series coming full circle back to Faye and Sin. I fell in love with them in the first book and loved getting glimpses of them in the other books. The amount of growth for both characters from book one to now is amazing and to see how they have matured into their roles with the MC was awesome. I couldn’t put the book down, I became invested from the very beginning and needed to know what was going to happen next.
I love Faye, she is the ultimate MC queen. The men and women of the MC love her and she is the glue that holds everyone together, plus she is totally kick a**, from using her nun chucks to her lawyer skills. Sin is amazing president with a heart. I loved getting into his head and experiencing the love her has for Faye and his children. I love them together. They still keep things hot with two children and running the MC.
Of course we get action and drama. We also get to visit with all of our favorite MC members. A lot of questions were answered and there are also some surprises. I loved this book and getting back to the beginning with Sin and Faye. I hope we get more of the Wind Dragons in the future.
Last Ride (Wind Dragons MC, #5.5)
by Chantal Fernando
Faye is the heart of the Wind Dragons MC. She is the Queen of the MC a bad ass lawyer and an all out source of comfort and rationality for the group. Her love for the group, and its leader Sin is what ties them all together. When outside forces come to claim her in their plots and machinations, she is tested on her resolve to protect the WDMC. This is a book that connects the last story and the next. Showing the personal connections and the changes that circumstance caused in WDMC.
I adored reading about the Wind Dragons MC with Sin and Faye and their little girl. I'd not heard of Chantal Fernando prior to this listing in NetGalley but rest assured that her snappy dialog and grreat pacing has turned me into a fan and I'll be reading more. Thanks!
Who else is excited to read about Sin and Faye again? 'Cause I certainly am.
Last Ride is a novella in the Wind Dragons MC series. It is a short read but it will contain some unexpected surprise in there and it will also lead into the next in the book.
Last Ride will start off where the last one ended but it will content some surprises for the Wind Dragons member because there will be a big decision made. And I will not spoil it for you. Sin and Faye has been through a lot throughout the years so nothing is never boring in their life. But things are going to become crazy when they agree to help Talon find his rat in the club. It is always a challenge to find a rat cause it is always the unexpected. And it will shock you who it is.
While they are helping out with Talon, they are also going to deal with some family drama. You will see a old face that it may be unexpected that it will lighten up some big drama throughout the book. It is never a quiet day for Sin and Faye but they are strong together that they can take anything as long as they are together.
Last Ride is another amazing book that you cannot miss it. Five Stars!
4.5 stars for Last Ride!
I never normally like to go back to couples after I have read their happy ending but I couldn’t resist this novella and I’m glad I didn’t. I ended up loving this new look into Faye and Dex’s life as well as another insight into things that are happening at the club that were left off from Talon’s book.
Once again I was hooked by the characters of the Wild Dragons MC and I couldn’t put my book down. The plot has many major aspects that all intertwine and make this an interesting novella that you’ll want to see play out but even with these major plot points there is still some sexy time. It’s a quick read but that doesn’t make it any less entertaining and interesting. There was suspense and action involved and of course many appearances from previous characters that you know and love.
My love for Faye and Dex continued throughout reading this book as well as my love for the rest of the Wild Dragons MC. Faye and Dex’s chemistry hasn’t gone anywhere and I could still feel it fly off the pages. I loved all the interactions with characters that we love if we have read the rest of the series. Last Ride gives you another short chapter and insight into the MC that we all love which made me really happy to see.
I would recommend this novella and to make it even better I would highly recommend the whole series! I can’t wait to see what Chantal Fernando writes next!
Maybe I am missing something here but this book just did not do it for me as much as the others in the series did.
The first quarter of the book is a recap of who is who and trying to update you on what is going on. It was confusing and frankly, a bit boring. Maybe a Cast of Characters in front would be better served than to try and update us on 10 different guys, their wives, and kids.
Don't get me wrong, once you finally get into the meat of the story, it was engaging and good. But to me, still not a good as the other books prior.
I like the character of Faye. But in this book she comes across as everyone's' big sister or mom figure and most of the book was her chitchatting with the other members and not a whole bunch of action going on. However, the action that was there was fabulous. I wish there was more of that and less general conversation.
Faye and Sin together are hot as are some of the other connections the author has created, but this book seems like it was more talk and less action, MC wise, and heat wise.
The author did create a good story with some surprises and some humor too. A bit of grit, darkness and some sexy spicy parts brought together for an entertaining read. I enjoyed the series overall, but this one was not a favorite.
