I enjoyed the world that Burright introduced me to in her first book, Wonderfully Wicked and after introducing us to Dax, I could not wait to get my hands on his book. Poor Dax he had to separate from Kalila and it left Dax embittered and cold. The world building is short of amazing. I love how Burright makes me feel a part of their dream-casting world. This books weaves reality and magic seamlessly. Ella is a bit frightened of Daxen, she knows what he is and somehow cannot fight off the attraction. I really loved their story. I like when bad boys are featured with a good guy veneer underneath all that gruff. Lol. Another awesome read by this great author. 4.5 stars!
