A real valuable book in a field which needs more solid scholarship,biblical anthropology. McConville brings his usual rigour to bear in this really useful conversation/extended mediatation on Psalm 8:4 and its implications, McConville casts stones of reflection on the surface of evangelical thought and lets the ripples radiate.He doesn't draw big conclusions,but rather prompts further thinking, an approach I think is wise in this area.
