Matthew is a younger man, and a playboy to boot, and having already lost her job and her relationship with her parents, Leila is determined to move on from their breakup. Enter his family, who want nothing more than for them to get back together, and they think a trip to Ireland at Christmastime is just the ticket. Will Leila forgive Matthew and work things out with him, and will Matthew give up his playboy ways to have a relationship with Leila, or will they give up and move on?
First off, I love the Chesapeake Shore series, and this book definitely lived up to my expectations. I liked Matthew and Leila very much, and don't even get me started on how much I love the whole O'Brien clan! Everybody should have such a large group of people to support.
Sherryl Woods hasn't written a book yet that I have read and haven't loved. Her writing is flawless and her descriptions of the setting were spot on. I imagined myself in Ireland, and Ireland at Christmas was very lovely, indeed.
I can highly recommend this entry in the Chesapeake Shores series to anyone who loves a feel good romance story.
5/5 stars.
I received a copy of this book free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion.
