Filthy Rich by Raine Miller is One of the Must Read Book of the Year. I Loved reading each and every second of the book. It was amazing, mind blowing and amazingly written.

I enjoyed this one but not as much as the author's other work. Still, it was entertaining and spicy! I would recommend it!

Filthy Rich (Blackstone Dynasty 1) is a perfect example of why Raine Miller is one of my go-to authors; fabulous writing with strong, genuine characters who are a joy to read about.

Raine Miller knows what the ladies want in an alpha male. And once again, she has delivered! Ladies, prepare yourself to swoon over the delicious Caleb Blackstone - another gorgeous Blackstone man who will leave your heart pounding. Strong and sexy, this gorgeous man knows what he wants and isn’t taking no for an answer.

When it comes to female characters, Brooke Casterley is a personality I think most of us can relate to. Not helpless or overbearing, she won’t be easily swayed by money or power when it comes to looking out for those she loves. I love the female characters Ms. Miller writes

Filthy Rich is fabulous swoony story that will give you the feels… the endearing feels, and the “Oh my” sexy feels. The characters in Filthy Rich are wonderful—some I absolutely loved, while others I wanted to push off a cliff ;-)

I really enjoyed the story of Brooke and Caleb. They come for different backgrounds and social classes but are more alike than people think. Caleb is the head of his fathers business and a shrewd businessman and a billionaire to boot. Brooke was left parent-less in the UK in her teens and was sent to live with a her grandmother in America. In her young adult life, she found herself in a volatile relationship with resulted many scars. Can Caleb be her prince to help her achieve her happily ever after. This is a lovely story with many great characters. I cannot wait to read more stores about the Blackstones.

Raine Miller has continued to write stories that completely enchant me and leave me hanging throughout the story. Every time I read this authors story I do not want tot finish the story because I a want to find out more about what is going to happen with the characters, This story is another amazing read that I absolutely loved.

I don't just give this book 4 stars, it is more like 4.5 stars!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I was missing some of the connection from the books this was spun off from. Quite possibly I will learn later in the series how these American Blackstone's relate to the British Blackstone's from the previous series.

Caleb is a wonderful addition to the Blackstone family!! Right from the start you see his sex appeal but also his heart. Brooke you see has a dark past and has somethings to over come. It was fun, sexy, beautiful and full of heart how this story unfolds. I am super excited about the next books as well because the introduction to all of the new characters of the American Blackstone family will be very interesting.

I can easily say this one is by far one of my favorite by this author. It's sweet and romantic and it has a little bit angst .It felt a little bit like a modern fairy tale and this make me swoon over the story.I highly recommend it, it's different from this author's others books but so so good!

This is the first in a series focused on Boston-based Blackstones, and I can’t wait for the next one. I enjoy Miller’s books, and I enjoy her Hot Heroes and Hot Headboard Rocking. It will be so much fun to get to know Caleb’s family.

Loved this one and how sweet it really was all throughout. It nice to read a drama light love story occasionally!

I really enjoyed this one. It was super sweet. Very insta-love. Low angst. A tiny bit predictable. But I loved the characters (both main and secondary.) Caleb was SO sweet and one look at Brooke was all it took for him to give up his player ways and fall madly in love. Brooke was a sweet heroine. She had been through so much for such a young woman, but she handled it all so well. There is a fabulous cast of secondary characters, from Brooke's Gram to Caleb's siblings and best friend James. They all added an extra layer to the overall story. I can't wait to see what is in store for them.

That said, it did drag a little for me through the middle and I felt like we were left hanging about the heroine's husbands family. The author kept alluding to them being dangerous or potentially coming after the heroine, but nothing ever came of it. I also (as I mentioned above) found it a bit predictable. I saw the big surprise at the end coming from a mile away.

Overall, though, this was a fabulous little read that kept me entertained. So it gets two thumbs up from yours truly.

I had high high hopes for this book. I love billionaire romance with bossy alpha males and beautiful women who need a little extra cash. Brooke and Caleb's story promised to deliver what I love most. Caleb is richy rich and sick of his one night affiliations. When the book kicks off, he is finishing off a particularly crazy "relationship" which seemed like a series of one night stands with a nymphomaniac. It's a really long story but it ends with Caleb swearing off random hook ups. Brooke is working two jobs to make ends meet and trying to take care of her grandmother. Brooke grew up on Blackstone Island where she was working class and Caleb was making it rain (I made that up but just go with the imagery). The interesting thing about when Caleb and Brooke meet is that Brooke already has kind of preconceived notions about men like Caleb. For Caleb's part, he starts out pretty clueless about what effect his wealth might have on Brooke.

In the fashion that I truly love in a romance, Caleb figures out a way to financially help Brooke and be close to her without letting her know what he's doing. He hires her to decorate his home. Love it! Ok here's the thing, I really like Brooke and Caleb together. They have instant attraction but the author still takes time to develop their relationship. It is a little weird in the beginning. After Brooke and Caleb first meet, Caleb kind of starts obsessing about Brooke and how he can run into her again. It seemed kind of extreme for a two time chance encounter beginning but I could go with it. I like over the top obsessive attraction. I also liked the Brooke is strong and independent but still knew when to rely on Caleb.

There were some things about this book that I see some people loved but I actually found kind of distracting and cliche. There is gay gay best guy friend which we have seen I don't even know how many times. When Caleb ditches psycho chick in the beginning she goes right to his best friend. And that's ok with Caleb which I found distracting to say the least. There is a story line with Caleb's assistant. I'm intrigued and if a book is written about that situation I might read it but I didn't really get why it was in this book. There are a few other things which just seemed to do more to detract from the story then to add to it but in the end, I gotta say, I liked this book. I recommend reading it.

Raine has out done herself with this beautiful read of Caleb and Brooke. Yes he is filthy rich but he stands strong and powerful. The love he has shown within is priceless. A definite must read!!!!

This is the first book in the Blackstone Dynasty series and each book is a standalone, although the characters are interconnected. I like the author's voice and the feel of this story. The characters are unforgettable and have explosive chemistry and it has an engaging storyline. The story is told from alternating POVs, so it is easy to understand what both characters are feeling.

This is a satisfying and emotional story about Brooke a twenty-three year old woman who has survived a relationship that has left her an emotional wreck. All Brooke wants is a uneventful, peaceful life but once she meets Caleb, her life is never the same. Celeb blasts into her life, after a chance meeting and everything changes. Caleb finds himself immediately drawn to Brooke and senses her sadness and wants to help her overcome it. He is astounded by his strong feeling for her and quickly tries to convince her to spend time with him. Brooke is cautious but also can't help her attraction to Caleb. She is afraid to let her guard down and worries there are too many differences in them. Caleb is eight years older than Brooke and very wealthy. Brooke wants a simple life and he leads a glamorous life and lives under a spotlight. I love how Caleb is so sweet, caring and sensitive to Brooke’s needs. Sadly, there are outside forces that continually challenge their relationship.

Brooke is an interior designer working in Boston. She is young and sweet but was married to an abusive husband and it has left her empty and suspicious of any man’s motives. She is unaffected and natural; what you see is what you get and she doesn't expect anything from Caleb. Caleb finds Brooke refreshing. He is protective and caring of her. He wants to make her life easier and he wants her in his life on any terms. He is willing to take things slow or do whatever it takes to win her. Caleb is man used to getting his way and having women falling at his feet. He needs to be in control and always gets what he wants. Brooke is a game changer. She is like no woman he has ever known and he is willing to do whatever it takes to win her. He is protective, controlling and cares for Brooke so much.

I started to read this as soon as I had my ARC approved but I wasn't feeling it and decided to put it on hold, waiting for the right mood to strike.
Just tried to give this another go and I don't think there is anything wrong with it. It's just that it's not holding my attention at all. Giving up. No rate.

It took me a while to find the right words. I know when I start a Raine Miller book the words will transport to a new world. Caleb and Brooke's was just perfection. They share a unique bond that will capture the heart. I know it captured mine. This is a beautiful journey. I can't for everyone to read their story

I was excited to see more from this author after loving Ethan's story.

Yes, Raine, Yes!!!! I have been needing a book like this something fierce!!! Sometimes, as a blogger/reviewer we get into these ”slumps”. Every book we read just seems to fall short of that perfect 5 stars your looking for. For me, that has been happening quiet often lately, until Filthy Rich!!! OMG…It was EXACTLY what I needed!!! Caleb and Brooke are amazing characters. They are very well rounded, and very well developed. The story as a whole is fan-freaking-tastic!!!
