Filthy Rich is a steamy, sexy, beautifully written romance. One that I could not put down! Raine Miller is outstanding in FR. I love this book so much!! It will melt the panties off of you and leave you wanting more. of a strikingly handsome, powerful, hot as hell man who knows how to treat a lady well. Caleb Blackstone was the epitome of all of that.
Billionaire Caleb Blackstone lives in the glamorous world of wealth and success, with every material luxury. But the moment he sees Brooke Casterley, none of that matters. Caleb is filled with a raw, undeniable need that he can’t ignore…for a girl who is so completely different from everything and everyone he’s ever known.
Only Brooke isn’t looking for love. She knows all too well just how much damage the wrong guy can do. Still, what sane, broke British girl can resist the charms of an incredibly sexy, chivalrous billionaire? What starts as flirtation quickly turns into all-consuming passion. Nothing could have prepared her for the searing heat of Caleb’s touch—or just how much she craves him.
Their whirlwind romance is the stuff of high-society fantasy—but for every moment of pleasure, there is a cost. Past mistakes and tragedy shadow them both…and falling for him might be the kind of trouble she can’t afford.

Welcome to 2017 and my first review of the year. It almost seems fitting that I start off the year with a modern day Cinderella story. And it is definitely one of those with Caleb being born with a silver spoon and Brooke being the daughter of the help. Of course, they didn't know that when they first met over a meatball.
I do have to say that I found FILTHY RICH to be an entertaining story but I didn't really connect with any of the main characters as I felt there was a glass way between myself and them. Which when you come to think of it is rather strange since the book was written in viewpoints alternating between Brooke and Caleb. There are some rather hot sex scenes in the book and you can definitely feel the chemistry between the two.
I did find some of the secondary characters to be more interesting such as some of Caleb's siblings. I will probably pick up the next book in the series because of that.
There were also some issues brought up in the storyline that relate directly to Caleb and Brooke that seem to have been mentioned and then forgotten. Not the most satisfactory conclusion to the book.
I can't say that I would recommend FILTHY RICH to my readers because while it is entertaining, it does the miss the mark on being satisfying. Now mind you, this is my opinion and yours might differ greatly. If you do read it be sure to let me know what you think.
*** I received this book at no charge from NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions expressed within are my own.
