I've seen the author give wisdom in sermons on tv but I really thankful for his wisdom in this book. I often worried over not only my own protection but also my children's. This book helped with overcoming fear that plagues me.

Joseph Prince is amazing. He has such a great story and is a powerful speaker. I'm not sure if his writing is as effective but I still think this book is worth the read.

Joseph Prince has written many books on significant areas of the Christian life. His new book focuses on the promise of God's protection in the life of every believer. Too many times believers tend to deny danger around them, and claim it is because they know God's protection is available. But just as salvation must be received, so must all of the promises of God. Prince walks us through Psalm 91 as the model for the keys to abiding in the secret place. He demonstrates through clear language, and many specific examples from the Bible, that every Christian can walk in a place of supernatural protection and only "observe with your eyes" the outcome of the wicked.

Though the news tirelessly reports on danger, calamity, crises, terrorism, war, etc., the body of Christ is not vulnerable IF they follow the precepts in God's Word. God made provision for days just like these, and all we must do is read, understand, and act on His counsel.

Joseph Prince details every angle of this place of safety. His insight into the language of God's Word, including the original Hebrew of this Psalm, will bring fresh revelation and hope into the heart of everyone who studies this book, and activate this promise of protection in our daily lives.

The Prayer of Protection: Fearless Living in Dangerous Times is the newest offering from Joseph Prince, Bible teacher and senior pastor of New Creation Church, a fast- growing church in Singapore with a congregation of more than 30,000. Prince also has an international broadcast ministry. This volume examines Psalm 91 verse by verse, with Prince offering his interpretation of the psalm. He translates from the original Hebrew and Greek words and elaborates on the promises and protection to be found in this psalm if it is used as a prayer by believers. Testimonies by real people who belong to his church or listen to his broadcast ministry are also included. As a reader of the Bible, who has made her own studies of it, and who has tried to live a life of faith, I agreed with 95% of Prince's interpretations in this book which I thought was better written and deeper than some of his previous books which were quite short. I found it an inspirational read.
